Job Description

The Field Supervisor will oversee field operations related to WASH (Safe Drinking Water), Adolescent Health, and Nutrition programs, ensuring timely program implementation, capacity building of community resources, and effective monitoring and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise Field Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day activities of Community Resource Persons (CRPs) and volunteers in WASH programs.
  • Facilitate formation and sensitization of Water User Committees / Village Water & Sanitation Committees.
  • Identify Nutri Garden beneficiaries and provide ongoing handholding and follow-up support.
  • Ensure program implementation is on track with timelines.
  • Conduct meetings with community leaders, PRI members, and government line departments regarding Adolescent Health and WASH.
  • Monitor program implementation, training sessions, and provide guidance to CRPs.
  • Supervise both hard and soft components, including IEC and SBCC activities.
  • Lead awareness campaigns and community mobilization activities.

2. Reporting and Documentation

  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of reports.
  • Verify reports submitted by Village Health Workers (VHWs) and CRPs.
  • Maintain up-to-date data on activities, meetings, distributions, and trainings.
  • Track beneficiaries and maintain their profiles with supporting documents.
  • Document case studies, GPS-tagged photos, videos, and meeting minutes according to prescribed formats.

3. Data Management

  • Convert and maintain complete data of beneficiaries under WASH programs for reporting and communication purposes.
  • Support and verify reporting from CRPs and VHWs to ensure accuracy.

4. Support and Capacity Building

  • Provide ongoing handholding, mentoring, and training to CRPs and VHWs on Adolescent Health, WASH, Nutrition, and reporting processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly data reporting by field teams.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related field (preferred).

Experience & Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a field-based role, preferably in an NGO setting.
  • Strong understanding of community development and project management.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
  • Fluency in Hindi and English; local language proficiency is a plus.
