About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Field Supervisor to oversee and manage on-ground agricultural activities in the banana export industry. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in field-level agricultural operations, crop management, and quality assurance, particularly in banana cultivation. This role requires frequent travel within assigned districts and close coordination with farmers, agronomists, and supply chain teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise banana cultivation activities across assigned farms and ensure adherence to export quality standards.
• Conduct field visits to monitor crop health, pest control measures, irrigation, and fertilization practices.
• Guide farmers on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and post-harvest handling.
• Coordinate with the procurement and logistics team to ensure timely harvesting and delivery.
• Ensure documentation and compliance with export quality norms and certifications.
• Provide training and support to farmers on modern and sustainable agricultural techniques.
• Maintain field reports and data on crop progress, issues, and resolution.
• Work closely with agronomists, quality inspectors, and warehouse teams to streamline operations.

Qualifications:

• Educational Requirement:
• Preferred: B.Sc. in Agriculture
• Also Considered: Agriculture Diploma, or any Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Agriculture or related fields
• Experience:
• 1–5 years of experience in agriculture fieldwork, preferably in banana cultivation or horticulture
• Freshers with relevant education and high field adaptability may also be considered
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong field supervision and coordination skills
• Practical knowledge of crop management and pest/disease control
• Good communication skills in Marathi and/or Hindi; basic English preferred
• Ability to work in rural field conditions and manage relationships with local farmers
• Basic documentation and reporting skills

Location Preference:

Candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Solapur, Jalgaon, or Shahada districts will be preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
