Field Service Engineer

Job Description

Field Service Engineers are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment or systems at client locations, ensuring efficient operation and troubleshooting issues. They also provide technical support, training, and documentation, often managing on-site activities and collaborating with other teams. Role & responsibilities Installation: Installing new equipment or systems at client sites, including site assessments and planning. Maintenance: Performing preventative maintenance, including checks, repairs, and adjustments to ensure equipment is in optimal condition. Repair: Diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions, troubleshooting problems, and resolving issues efficiently. Training: Educating customers on how to operate and maintain their equipment, including safety protocols and best practices. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaboration: Working with technical support, engineering, and other teams to resolve complex issues and improve service quality. Problem Solving: Diagnosing and resolving complex issues, often under time constraints, requiring critical thinking and analytical skills. Communication: Communicating effectively with customers, team members, and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise communication. Travel: Traveling to client sites, which may include overnight stays or extended travel, to meet the needs of customers in different locations.
