Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:

    • Actively prospect and generate new leads for Tiles, Sanitaryware, CP Fittings, and Adhesives products.
    • Visit potential clients, including construction companies, retailers, and individual customers, to present products and close sales.
    • Develop and maintain a customer pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts.
    • Conduct product demonstrations and site visits to ensure customers understand the full scope and benefits of the products.
    • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  2. Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to drive repeat business.
    • Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide solutions in a timely manner.
    • Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
  3. Market Knowledge and Competitor Awareness:

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the Tiles, Sanitaryware, CP Fittings, and Adhesives industries.
    • Monitor competitor products and pricing strategies to ensure competitive advantage.
    • Provide input on product offerings, pricing, and market positioning based on customer and competitor insights.
  4. Sales Reporting and Administration:

    • Record sales activities, customer information, and follow-up actions using CRM tools.
    • Provide weekly and monthly sales reports to the Sales Manager, including feedback on market conditions and customer needs.
    • Assist in the preparation of quotations and follow up with clients to close sales.
  5. Conveyance:

    • Use personal vehicle (bike) for local travel to meet customers, deliver products, and attend site visits.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education:

     Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred).
  • Experience:

     At least 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in construction, building materials, or related industries (Tiles, Sanitaryware, etc.).
  • Skills:

    • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
    • Self-motivated with a drive for meeting sales targets.
    • Proficient in using CRM tools and basic office software.
    • Ability to travel locally, with 

      a bike

       being mandatory for site visits and customer meetings.
  • Required:

    • Personal bike (mandatory).
    • A valid driver's license.
