FIELD FIBER ENGINEER

• Installation: Install fiber optic systems, including cables, connectors, and related hardware, in various environments such as residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Maintenance and Repair: Conduct regular maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs on fiber optic networks to ensure high-speed data transmission and communication.
• Testing and Troubleshooting: Use specialized equipment (e.g., power meters, OTDRs) to test the integrity of fiber optic cables and diagnose problems within the network.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and system performance, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to streamline network operations and improve service delivery.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide technical support, ensuring customer satisfaction with the services provided.
