Field Biologist

As a passionate and competent individual with a minimum of two years of experience in biodiversity research, you are invited to apply for the position. You must hold a master's degree in ecology, zoology, plant taxonomy, or wildlife biology from a reputed institute, demonstrating a serious interest in biodiversity conservation in terrestrial ecosystems and mangroves ecosystems. Excellent command over English is necessary for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct field research, including biodiversity surveys, resources assessments, wildlife surveys, and ecological data collection. - Analyze data and prepare technical reports. - Monitor biodiversity and develop indicators. - Estimate biomass and carbon stock. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of two years of experience in biodiversity research. - Master's degree in ecology, zoology, plant taxonomy, or wildlife biology. - Serious interest in biodiversity conservation in terrestrial ecosystems and mangroves ecosystems. - Excellent command over English. The monthly compensation for this position ranges between INR 30,000-45,000, depending on the qualification and experience of the candidate.
