Job Description

An automobile service telecaller contacts customers by phone to schedule appointments, inform them about upcoming service needs, promote offers, and address service-related queries, all while maintaining customer databases in a CRM system. Key responsibilities include conducting outbound and inbound calls, maintaining call logs, coordinating with the service department, resolving issues, and working to achieve service targets. This role requires excellent communication, persuasion, and data management skills.

Key Responsibilities

· Customer Outreach:

Make outbound calls to existing and potential customers to inform them about service schedules, annual maintenance contracts (AMCs), and ongoing service offers.

· Inbound Call Handling:

Address customer inquiries about service and products, providing accurate information and resolving issues.

· Appointment Scheduling:

Coordinate with the service department to schedule appointments for customers and follow up on their service status.

· Customer Relationship Management:

Maintain and update customer databases with details of interactions, feedback, and service requirements.

· Sales & Promotion:

Promote service offers, packages, and new products to encourage customer engagement.

· Feedback Collection:

Obtain feedback from customers after their service to ensure satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.

· Record Keeping:

Maintain detailed records of all calls, responses, and customer data, often using a CRM system.

Required Skills and Qualifications

· Communication Skills:

Exceptional oral communication, active listening, and persuasive speaking skills are essential.

· Interpersonal Skills:

Ability to build rapport with customers, handle grievances professionally, and work effectively in a team.

· CRM Proficiency:

Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software for data entry and management.

· Organizational Skills:

Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and maintain records accurately.

· Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to understand customer needs and offer appropriate solutions to inquiries and issues.

· Sales Acumen:

A proactive approach to suggesting solutions and meeting targets for service bookings and customer engagement
