Job Summary:
The Reservation Manager ( Female ) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the reservation process, ensuring maximum occupancy and revenue through effective coordination, communication, and guest relationship management. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and local languages, with a strong understanding of hotel operations and guest experience management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring smooth and accurate handling of bookings.
- Coordinate with the marketing and sales team for promotions, offers, and rate updates.
- Maintain close contact with travel agents, OTAs, and corporate clients to ensure consistent business flow.
- Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms with a professional and service-oriented approach.
- Review and confirm reservations, cancellations, and modifications promptly.
- Monitor room inventory and maximize occupancy levels through effective yield management.
- Train and guide the reservations team in customer service standards and booking software.
- Prepare regular reports on booking trends, revenue performance, and agent productivity.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by resolving reservation-related issues efficiently and courteously.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Reservation Executive / Manager in a reputed hotel or resort.
- Proficient in English, Hindi, and local languages (Kannada preferred).
- Strong knowledge of PMS (Property Management Systems) and OTA extranets (Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, etc.).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
