Role Overview: As a Procurement Specialist, your role involves sourcing and procuring suppliers for raw materials, goods, or services. You will be responsible for negotiating prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers. Your duties include placing orders, tracking delivery schedules, and ensuring timely receipt of goods. Additionally, you will monitor inventory levels, optimize stock levels, and minimize waste. Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance are also key aspects of your role. Your responsibilities will also include analyzing costs, identifying opportunities for savings, and implementing cost-reduction strategies. Furthermore, you will be required to ensure that purchased goods meet quality standards and specifications.
