Job Description: Account Manager (Indian Accounting)

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Account Manager (female candidate only) with strong expertise in Indian accounting practices. The candidate should be well-versed with end-to-end accounting functions, statutory compliances, and financial management. The role requires handling day-to-day accounts, finalization of books, taxation, and ensuring compliance with Indian accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete accounting cycle including bookkeeping, ledgers, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheet, P&L, and MIS reports.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, vendor reconciliations, and expense management.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and statutory authorities.
• Ensure timely filing of returns and regulatory documents.
• Maintain payroll, employee reimbursements, and related compliance.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Implement internal financial controls and ensure accuracy in accounting processes.
• Liaise with management to provide insights on financial performance and suggest improvements.

Requirements

• Female candidate only.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting; Master’s or CA Inter preferred.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Indian accounting (real estate industry experience is an advantage).
• In-depth knowledge of Indian taxation laws, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
