Job Description

Job Summary

The Cattle Feed Field Executive will be responsible for generating leads, developing the local market for cattle feed products, conducting awareness programs, and driving monthly feed bag sales. The role involves field visits, meetings with women groups and shopkeepers, explaining product benefits, and maintaining distribution and sales records.

Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Market Creation

  • Identify potential cattle owners, dairy farmers, women SHGs, and rural entrepreneurs.
  • Generate new leads for cattle feed products in assigned villages/areas.
  • Develop and expand the local market chain for cattle feed.

2. Feed Awareness & Promotion

  • Conduct awareness meetings with women groups, dairy farmers, and shopkeepers.
  • Explain cattle feed product benefits such as milk yield improvement, animal health, and cost efficiency.
  • Demonstrate proper usage and feeding methods.

3. Sales & Target Achievement

  • Achieve monthly targets for cattle feed bag sales.
  • Promote repeat sales through regular follow-ups with farmers and retailers.
  • Support shopkeepers in increasing feed movement and visibility.

4. Distribution & Record Maintenance

  • Maintain daily records of feed distribution, sales, and stock movement.
  • Track monthly feed bags sold and submit reports to the branch/management.
  • Coordinate with distributors and retailers for timely supply.

5. Stakeholder Meetings

  • Conduct regular meetings with:
  • Women Self-Help Groups (SHGs)
  • Dairy farmers
  • Local shopkeepers / feed retailers
  • Build long-term relationships and trust in the local market.

6. Field Reporting

  • Submit daily field visit reports and weekly sales summaries.
  • Share market feedback, competitor activity, and farmer requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of cattle feed, dairy nutrition, or livestock products.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with farmers and women groups.
  • Basic sales, persuasion, and market development skills.
  • Comfortable working in rural and semi-urban areas.
  • Record-keeping and basic reporting skills.

Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum Qualification: 10th / 12th pass
  • Preferred: Diploma / experience in Agriculture, Dairy, Animal Husbandry, Feed Sales
  • Freshers with rural field exposure can also apply.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
