Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Stress Analysis :

5 to 10 years experience

Hand calculations

Required

Static strength of composites (material orientation, Lamination theory, bearing bypass, Corner bending,failure indices)
Fasteners analysis – tension,shear, shear tension interaction
Static strength of Metallics –FBD, stress evaluation and Failure modes
Loads processing in Excel
Calculations in MS Excel
Report writing in Word
Previous experience supporting OEMs

Preferred -

Excel VBA macro

FEM

Required –

Knowledge on
NASTRAN
deck updating (NX Nastran will be used)
Post processing in
PATRAN
and *.f06 files
Knowledge of NASTRAN element types and results extraction
Results interpretation and knowledge of output

Preferred -

Pre-processing (FE Modeling) in Simcenter will be an advantage

FEM check and validation

Skills Required
