Fea Engineer

Overview

DSRI Labs is seeking a highly skilled and motivated CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The CAE Engineer will be responsible for performing simulations, analyses, and optimizations to support the design and development of innovative products.

Simulation Engineer with strong FEA fundamentals and CFD experience

Role & responsibilities

• Core Responsibilities (Primary FEA): Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) simulations to evaluate product performance.
• Develop and validate simulation models to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to provide insights and recommendations based on simulation results.
• Optimize product designs for performance, durability, and manufacturability.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CAE tools and techniques.
• Secondary Responsibilities (CFD) - Perform CFD simulations related to underwater applications

Preferred candidate profile

• PhD (fresh graduates)

  or

  Bachelors / Master’s degree holders with relevant industry or research experience in

  Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a closely related field

  .
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials science, and mechanics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Tools (Experience in at least one from each category)

• FEA:

  ANSYS Mechanical, Abaqus, COMSOL, or equivalent

• CFD:

  ANSYS Fluent/CFX, OpenFOAM, STAR-CCM+, or equivalent

• Pre/Post:

  HyperMesh, ANSA, ParaView, Tecplot, or similar
