Job Description:- The F&B Captain plays a supervisory role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the food and beverage service. They are responsible for leading a team of waitstaff, ensuring high standards of customer service, coordinating with the kitchen and bar, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards. The F&B Captain acts as a key point of contact for guests and ensures their dining experience is exceptional. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the restaurant or dining area. Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and ambience before each service. Assign tasks and stations to waitstaff and ensure effective team performance. Greet guests, take orders when necessary, and ensure excellent customer service. Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally and promptly. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards. Assist in training new staff and mentoring junior team members. Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with the kitchen and bar for stock and orders. Monitor service standards and suggest improvements to enhance the guest experience. Prepare shift reports and communicate issues or updates to management.
