Job Description

Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Engineer

Location:

Bangalore

Experience:

4-6 years

Your Role

As an F&DT Engineer, you will be responsible for performing fatigue and damage tolerance analysis on aircraft structures. Youll work with advanced simulation tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the safety and reliability of primary and secondary aircraft components.

In this role, you will:

Perform 1D, 2D, and 3D modeling using Hypermesh.
Conduct linear, non-linear (primary), and thermal analysis.
Apply hand calculations for structural validation.
Utilize ISAMI for fatigue and damage tolerance assessments.
Work with FEA tools such as Nastran and Abaqus for simulation.
Prepare and review stress and certification reports.
Collaborate with design teams to propose engineering solutions.

Your Profile

Bachelors degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech).
4-6 years of experience in fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.
Strong knowledge of FEA and aircraft structural components.
Proficient in ISAMI, Patran, Hypermesh, Nastran, Abaqus, CATIA, Excel.
Familiarity with scripting tools like Python and tcl/tk.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
