The role involves performing static and fatigue & damage tolerance (F&DT) analyses to support in-service structural repairs on aircraft wings. Roles & Responsibilities:Perform detailed static stress analysis of wing structures to support repair solutions for in-service damage.Conduct fatigue and damage tolerance (F&DT) analysis in line with EASA requirements to assess the continued airworthiness of repairs.Develop and validate analytical models (hand calculations, FEM) for primary and secondary structural components.Provide technical substantiation reports and stress dossiers to support repair design and regulatory approval.Collaborate with design engineers to ensure repair feasibility, manufacturability, and certification compliance.Use OEM tools, methods, and allowable (preferably Airbus) for substantiation.Participate in peer reviews, design/stress reviews, and sign-off assigned activities. Professional & Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of static strength, fatigue life estimation, and fracture mechanics.Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as ISAMI, Mathcad, PATRAN.Proficient in engineering documentation systems relevant to Repair.(Tech Request, ICARUS, Airbus World)Familiarity with EASA regulations, structural repair manuals (SRMs), and OEM guidelines (preferably Airbus)Strong problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset.Good communication and stakeholder management skills.Prior experience in MRO or airline engineering support roles in Repairs will be desirable.Previous experience with Airbus wing structure analysis tools and standards will be desirable. Expertise in ISAMI modules (Metallic Filled Hole, Composite Filled Hole, Lug analysis, Corin Analysis, Notch, Sensitivity, Damage Tolerance, Tension Fitting, Fatigue Spectrum Analysis (1D & 2D), Fatigue DFEM Initiation Modules, etc.,) Experience with the use of both Finite Element (NASTRAN/PATRAN/HYPER MESH) and classical methods to perform structural load/Fatigue stress analysis for primary airframe structures is preferred. Expertise in Sizing/Justification of aircraft components by providing the mitigation solution for critical components. Experienced in documents (like PDR/CDR/Certification reports, Concessions, Repairs) and report creation and getting validated. High level of customer and quality orientation together with strong abilities in consulting and implementation. Experience on to industry standard verification & validation methods Good written and oral communication skills in English. Perform in a pressure environment and make quick yet meaningful decisions. Continuous learning ability to understanding best practices in analysis and methodologies. Good Knowledge on CATIA and experience in reading assembly drawings. Strong Technical Report (Dossier) writing and checking skills. Building, Leading, and guiding the team to execute the tasks. F&DT quality check and Delivery responsibility. Good experience in planning the training for freshers and experienced resources to fill the knowledge gap. Qualifications Who are we looking for?
