Fashion/Textile Merchandiser

As a Merchandiser, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that stores, shelves, or websites are consistently stocked with the appropriate types and quantities of products. You will be tasked with displaying, arranging, pricing, and rotating products in-store to attract customer attention. Additionally, maintaining store shelves by promptly removing dated or damaged products will be crucial to uphold the store's visual appeal. Monitoring store inventory based on sales and intake data will be part of your routine to optimize sales volume and profitability. Your keen understanding of profitable product lines and bestsellers will enable you to make informed recommendations for promotional strategies, utilizing sales and pricing data effectively. Effective communication and collaboration with buyers, suppliers, stores, and distributors will be essential in this role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a high school diploma or GED and possess 1-2 years of experience in retail or merchandising. Strong analytical skills, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, are key attributes required for success in this role.
