Fashion Designer

1. Designing clothing and fashion products with a strong focus on textile development, fabric selection, and surface design.

2. This role blends creativity with technical knowledge of fibers, weaving, knitting, dyeing, and printing techniques to create unique and innovative garments.

3. Create mood boards, sketches, and digital illustrations to present design concepts.

4. Participate in the development of prototypes and oversee sample production to ensure design intent is maintained.

5. Provide technical specifications, garment construction details, and pattern guidance for production.

6. Ensure quality control by reviewing samples, checking fabric performance, and making design adjustments when needed.

7. Work closely with merchandising and marketing teams to align designs with consumer trends and seasonal demand.

8. Stay updated with trends in fashion and textile innovation, and suggest new materials or techniques for future collections.

9. Strong understanding of textile manufacturing processes (weaving, knitting, dyeing, printing, finishing).

10. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software.'

11. Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

12. Understanding of bulk manufacturing challenges and costing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

• Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• FASHION DESIGNER: 3 years (Required)
