Position: Fashion Designer – Sourcing Intern Location: Mayapuri, Delhi (On-site) Company: TailorWorks Pvt. Ltd. Internship Overview: We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Fashion Designer – Sourcing Intern who wants to dive into the world of bespoke fashion and textile sourcing. This role is perfect for someone who is keen to understand the behind-the-scenes of material development, vendor interaction, and the design-to-production process in a luxury fashion brand. Key Responsibilities: Assist the sourcing team in identifying and procuring fabrics, trims, accessories, and embellishments. Visit markets and vendors to collect samples and understand current trends. Help maintain a structured swatch and fabric library with documentation. Support in vendor coordination for sample collection, price inquiries, and delivery timelines. Research new materials and sourcing options based on seasonal themes or client requirements. Create sourcing presentations and swatch mood boards for internal design reviews. Learn about textile identification, quality parameters, and cost-effective sourcing strategies. Requirements: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field. Strong interest in fabric sourcing, textiles, and fashion supply chain. Good communication, organization, and documentation skills. Willingness to travel locally for sourcing assignments. Basic knowledge of fabric types, garment construction, and fashion trends is a plus. What You’ll Learn: Real-time industry exposure to the sourcing and design workflow.
