Fashion Designer

Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and innovative Fashion Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing clothing or accessory collections that align with our brand identity and appeal to our target audience. This role requires a strong passion for fashion, an eye for detail, and the ability to anticipate trends while staying true to brand aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development

• Create original concepts and designs for clothing or accessory collections, including sketches, patterns, and prototypes.
• Research fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market demands to develop innovative designs.
• Select fabrics, materials, and embellishments that complement the designs and meet quality standards.
• Oversee the creation of samples and ensure alignment with design specifications.

Trend Analysis & Market Research

• Monitor current fashion trends, competitor activities, and cultural influences to identify opportunities for new designs.
• Attend fashion shows, exhibitions, and industry events to stay updated on emerging styles and innovations.

Collaboration

• Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and meet cost, quality, and timeline requirements.
• Coordinate with marketing and merchandising teams to align designs with brand strategies and target audience preferences.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors to source materials and manage production.

Quality Control

• Review samples and prototypes for quality, fit, and design accuracy, ensuring they meet brand standards.
• Provide feedback and make necessary adjustments to improve the final product.

Documentation & Presentation

• Maintain a portfolio of designs and create mood boards or presentations to showcase concepts and themes.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications for production teams.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience as a fashion designer or in a similar role.

Skills:

• Proficiency in any design software.
• Knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and textile properties.
• Familiarity with CAD software or digital tools for fashion design is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹12,000.00 per month
