Reporting To: Production Supervisor / Factory Manager

Job Purpose : We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Fashion Designer with strong pattern-making skills to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to design creative garments and convert those ideas into accurate patterns and samples for production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new clothing collections based on current trends and brand direction.
• Create sketches, mood boards, and technical design sheets.
• Prepare and modify paper or digital patterns according to measurements and garment styles.
• Cut and drape fabrics to test fit and silhouette before production.
• Work closely with tailors, sample makers, and production teams for fittings and corrections.
• Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and color combinations for designs.
• Ensure pattern accuracy, grading, and garment fitting consistency.
• Stay updated with fashion trends, fabrics, and construction techniques.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Fashion Design / Pattern Making / Apparel Design.
• Strong skills in manual and/or digital pattern drafting.
• Understanding of garment construction and fitting.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and precision in measurements.
• Team player with good communication and time management skills.
• Prior experience in a garment manufacturing unit or boutique.
• Knowledge of operating straight knife , band knife cutting machines or Most commonly used cutting machine
