About Us

Malang is a contemporary luxury womenswear label rooted in experimental design, bold textural play, and modern Indian detailing. We work with rich Indian fabrics and techniques to create innovative, high-fashion pieces for women aged 18–30.

Role Overview

Fashion Designer

Key Responsibilities

Research global fashion trends and adapt them to Malang’s brand philosophy.
Develop innovative womenswear collections using Indian textiles in contemporary silhouettes.
Create detailed sketches, mood boards, and technical drawings.
Collaborate with pattern makers, tailors, and artisans to translate designs into production.
Experiment with textures, draping, embroidery, and fabric manipulations.
Ensure timely delivery of design samples and collection deadlines.

Requirements

Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design (NIFT, NID, Pearl, or equivalent preferred).
1–3 years of relevant experience in womenswear / luxury / high-fashion design.
Strong sketching, draping, and CAD (Illustrator/Photoshop) skills.
Eye for detail, creativity, and understanding of luxury fashion aesthetics.
Passion for experimental yet sellable fashion.

What We Offer

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience & skill).
