Fashion Design Intern

House of Armuse is a luxury couture label known for its fine craftsmanship, modern silhouettes, and traditional artistry. Specializing in bespoke bridal, Indowestern, and occasion wear that combines heritage techniques with contemporary style, the brand has a strong presence in Jaipur, Delhi, and Mumbai. As a Fashion Design Intern at House of Armuse, you will have the opportunity to delve into the intricacies of couture, from draping and styling to embroidery development and sample creation. Working closely with our design team, you will play a key role in real-time projects and couture collections. Your responsibilities will include assisting in design development, mood boarding, and sketching, as well as supporting in draping and styling garments on mannequins and models. You will also help coordinate embroidery swatches, fabric sourcing, and sample development, while collaborating with designers, artisans, and pattern masters in the sampling process. Additionally, you will be involved in fittings, shoot preparations, and design team discussions, gaining valuable insights into the day-to-day workflow of a couture design studio. The ideal candidate for this role is a fashion design student or recent graduate with a keen interest in luxury fashion. You should be eager to learn about draping, high-fashion cuts, embroidery, silhouettes, and styling. Creativity, organization, and proactivity are essential traits for thriving in our fast-paced design environment. We are looking for a team player who can also manage tasks independently when necessary. This is a full-time internship opportunity with a contract length of 6 months. The work schedule includes day shifts, morning shifts, and weekend availability, with the work location being in person.
