Job Summary:

Fashion Designer cum Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new design concepts, sketches, and tech packs based on market trends and brand aesthetics.
• Coordinate with the production team for sample making, fitting, and final approval.
• Source fabrics, trims, and accessories as per design requirements.
• Handle buyer communication — including updates on samples, costing, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain records of styles, mood boards, and product details.
• Work closely with the marketing team to align product launches with brand campaigns.
• Conduct market and trend research for seasonal collections.
• Ensure quality, fit, and finish of final products before production.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design or Fashion Merchandising .
• 6 to 12 months of experience in a similar role (preferably in women’s wear).
• Strong understanding of fabrics, patterns, and garment construction.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail with a creative and trend-focused mindset.
