As a Fashion Content Curator at Oyela, you will play a crucial role in bringing the Oyela aesthetic to life across various digital and physical touchpoints. Your responsibilities will involve a combination of design sense, fashion intuition, and data-driven merchandising strategies to create visually engaging experiences that enhance sales and reinforce brand identity. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement visual merchandising guidelines for product display on the website, marketplaces, and retail pop-ups. - Curate homepages, collection pages, and product grids for seasonal drops and campaigns on digital platforms. - Collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure visual alignment with campaign storytelling. - Optimize visual hierarchy and product placement based on performance metrics. - Design in-store layouts, mannequins, and visual setups consistent with the brand tone for retail/pop-up displays. - Stay updated on emerging fashion and visual trends to keep the Oyela brand relevant and aspirational. - Work closely with Design, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure seamless execution of visual concepts. - Maintain and evolve the visual identity of Oyela across channels, focusing on a clean, trendy, and Gen Z aesthetic. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Visual Merchandising, or a related field from institutions like NIFT, Pearl, or similar. - Minimum 2 years of experience in online product display, visual appeal, or fashion branding, preferably in D2C or fashion retail. - Proficiency in Shopify interface. - Strong eye for color, layout, and detail with a good grasp of youth fashion trends. - Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar tools. - Excellent communication and project management skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative startup environment (6 days working).
