Job Responsibilities The Fashion Consultant & Logistics Specialist is the primary point of contact between Doorstep Stitch and its clients, ensuring a seamless and personalized tailoring experience. Key responsibilities include: 1.Client Consultation & Design Finalization: Visiting clients' homes at scheduled times. Conducting professional and accurate body measurements for various garment types. Discussing design preferences, fabric choices, embellishments, and fit requirements. Offering expert fashion advice and suggestions based on current trends and the client's body type/preferences. 2.Pricing & Order Confirmation: Calculating and communicating the final cost for the garment(s) based on design complexity, fabric, and labor, and finalizing the order. Collecting any necessary advance payment as per company policy. 3.Logistics & Garment Pickup: Picking up the agreed-upon materials or garments from the client's location. Ensuring all items are correctly tagged, documented, and safely transported. 4.Workshop Communication & Handoff: Returning to the workshop and clearly conveying all client specifications (measurements, design details, deadlines, and pricing) to the tailors and design team. Completing and filing detailed digital/physical work order forms for each project. 5.Quality Control (Initial): Briefly reviewing the finished garment before the final delivery process to ensure it meets the communicated specifications.  Specific Requirements Experience: Previous experience in a similar role (e.g., fashion retail, boutique sales, or logistics/field sales with measurement duties) is highly desirable. Freshers with a Diploma/Certificate in Fashion Design or a strong portfolio/demonstrable skill in tailoring may also be considered. Mode of Transport: Must own or be able to use a personal two-wheeler (bike/scooter) for efficient travel between client homes and the workshop. Working Hours: Flexibility to work during common client availability times (Store Time 10.30-7.30). Language: Fluency in the local language(s) and working proficiency in English (for professional communication and documentation). Presentation: Must maintain a neat, professional, and well-groomed appearance at all times, reflecting the 'Doorstep Stitch' brand image.
