The purpose of this role is to provide significant technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the concerned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup etc) as well as managing its day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for Advanced JBoss Architecture and Internals, including Installation and Configuration, Migration of Jboss EAP to WildFly, JDK or Open JDK upgrade to use with Jboss and WildFly, Application Deployment and Management (Jenkins, CD/CI), Clustering and High Availability, Performance Tuning and Optimization, Advanced Troubleshooting Techniques, Backup, Recovery, and Patch Management, Scripting and Automation, Disaster Recovery and Failover Strategies, and JBoss Upgrades, Migrations, and Patch Management. Key skills required for this role include Jboss EAP, WildFly, JAVA/Open JDK, Apache, and Linux. In addition to technical responsibilities, you will also be involved in Team Management, including resourcing, talent management, performance management, employee satisfaction and engagement. Your performance will be measured based on Operations of the tower (SLA adherence, Knowledge management, CSAT/Customer Experience, Identification of risk issues and mitigation plans), and New projects (Timely delivery, Avoid unauthorized changes, No formal escalations).
