Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and technically skilled Unity Developer with strong programming knowledge to join the teaching team at Avinashilingam University.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing interactive applications or games using Unity and C#, with a deep understanding of real-time development workflows.
You will be responsible for teaching students, guiding project development, and assisting in AR/VR simulations, game mechanics, and interactive content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and mentor students in Unity development, C# programming, and game logic.
• Assist in designing and developing academic or research-based projects using Unity.
• Collaborate with faculty members on AR/VR-based educational and interactive simulations.
• Ensure code quality, optimization, and real-time performance in Unity applications.
• Provide technical assistance and training support to students during lab sessions and workshops.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in C# programming within the Unity Engine.
• Good understanding of game loops, physics, animations, UI, and asset integration.
• Knowledge of AR/VR frameworks and real-time rendering principles.
• Excellent teaching, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a creative academic team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Animation, Multimedia, or related fields.
• Experience developing games, simulations, or AR/VR projects in Unity.
• Prior teaching or academic experience preferred.
