About the Institution:

We are a reputed management college in Kolkata dedicated to developing competent and industry-ready professionals. We are seeking an experienced and committed Operations Management Faculty to teach, mentor, and guide management students while contributing to the academic and institutional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students core and elective subjects in Operations Management, such as:
• Operations & Production Management
• Supply Chain Management
• Logistics & Inventory Management
• Quality Management
• Project Management
• Operations Strategy & Analytics
• Develop and deliver lesson plans, case studies, and simulation-based learning modules.
• Guide students in operations projects, internships, and research activities.
• Integrate industry practices and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, ERP, SAP basics) into coursework.
• Contribute to curriculum design, academic planning, and quality enhancement initiatives.
• Evaluate and assess student performance regularly.
• Collaborate with placement and industry outreach teams to align learning outcomes with employability skills.
• Organize and participate in seminars, workshops, and industrial visits to enhance practical exposure.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Masters degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or MBA (Operations/Supply Chain) from a recognized institution.
• Candidates with Ph.D. or UGC-NET qualification preferred.
• 3-10 years of relevant teaching or industry experience in operations, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and exposure to ERP tools or data analysis software.
• Commitment to student development, teamwork, and academic excellence.
