Faculty Interior Designer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Faculty Interior Designer, based in Ahmedabad. The responsibilities include teaching and mentoring students in the principles and practices of interior design. The Faculty Interior Designer will develop lesson plans, instruct on space planning, architecture, construction drawings, and FF&E, as well as provide critical feedback on student projects. Additionally, they will remain updated on industry trends and contribute to curriculum development to maintain teaching excellence.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design
• Practical knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings
• Understanding of Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) selection and application
• Strong communication and teaching skills to mentor and guide students effectively
• Familiarity with CAD and design software is preferred
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Prior experience as a faculty member or in teaching is a plus
• Adaptability, creativity, and passion for fostering student growth
