Faculty for Computer Applications

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Faculty Member in the Department of Computer Applications (MCA) to join our academic team. The candidate should have a strong academic background in computer applications, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to research and curriculum development. This role involves delivering lectures to undergraduate and postgraduate students (BCA/MCA), guiding student research and projects, contributing to academic planning, and actively participating in the department’s growth through innovative teaching and collaboration. Qualification: Master’s Degree in Computer Applications (MCA) from a recognized institution. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications (BCA). Ph.D. in Computer Applications/Computer Science/IT or a related discipline is mandatory. Experience: Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience in the relevant field. Should have a proven academic track record with published research papers in reputed journals. Experience guiding postgraduate projects and academic mentoring. Roles & Responsibilities: Deliver lectures and practical sessions for MCA and BCA programs. Design and update the curriculum based on academic and industry requirements. Supervise student research, dissertations, and internships. Publish original research in reputed national and international journals. Organize and participate in seminars, conferences, and academic events. Contribute to institutional activities like accreditations, audits (NAAC/NBA), and academic governance. Engage with industry for guest lectures, MoUs, placements, and knowledge sharing. Skill Set Required: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, etc. Knowledge of emerging technologies: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and blended teaching approaches. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Leadership and mentoring abilities.
