Factory Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Factory Worker to join our production team, specializing in the assembly of windows and doors. The ideal candidate will assist in the manufacturing process by preparing, assembling, and inspecting components to meet quality and safety standards. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities: Assemble window and door units from raw materials using hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures, and assembly instructions. Measure and cut materials (glass, aluminum, uPVC etc.) accurately based on design specifications. Install components such as glass panes, locks, weather seals, hinges, handles, and other fittings. Operate machinery such as saws, drills, presses, or CNC equipment as required. Conduct quality checks to ensure completed products meet company standards and customer specifications. Package finished products securely and label them for shipping or storage. Maintain a clean and organized workstation to comply with safety and efficiency guidelines. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and company policies. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify process improvements. Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor. Required Talents and Skills: Mechanical aptitude with ability to use hand tools and read assembly instructions or blueprints. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic math and measurement skills (e.g., using a tape measure, Laser operated device, reading fractions and decimals). Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise assembly tasks. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment. Prior experience in manufacturing, carpentry, or a similar production setting is a plus, especially in window or door assembly. Qualifications:High school , ITI or diploma preferred). Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or with door/window assembly is advantageous but not required – training provided. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (a plus). Work Environment: Fast-paced production facility with exposure to machinery, tools, and construction materials. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed footwear required.
