Factory Medical Officer

Location: Andheri
Work Schedule: 2 Days per Week (Part-Time)
Qualification Required: MBBS + AFIH (Associate Fellow of Industrial Health – DGFASLI/DGMS recognized)
Experience: 1–3 years in occupational health/industrial setup preferred
Job Type: Part-Time / On-site

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid and basic medical treatment to employees during duty hours.
• Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and exit medical examinations as per statutory requirements.
• Maintain all statutory medical records and registers as per the Factories Act.
• Operate and maintain the Occupational Health Centre (OHC) during presence on-site.
• Support compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Educate employees on health, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Coordinate with emergency services and nearby hospitals in case of serious incidents.
• Monitor workplace health hazards and recommend preventive measures.
• Ensure availability and maintenance of medicines and equipment in the OHC.
• Submit health reports to the management as needed.

• Mandatory Requirements:
• MBBS from a recognized university.
• AFIH certification (mandatory under Factory Rules).
• Valid medical registration with State/Indian Medical Council.

Availability:

• Required to work 2 fixed days per week on-site at the factory.
• Days and timing can be mutually decided.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
