We are seeking a qualified and experienced Factory Medical Officer (FMO) on fixed term contract basis to handle occupational health and statutory medical compliance at our manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu. The FMO will play a key role in ensuring the health and well-being of our workforce in alignment with the Tamil Nadu Factories Rules, 1950.
1. Provide medical care to employees and handle the onsite occupational health center.
2. Conduct pre-engagement and periodical medical examinations.
3. Maintain health records and statutory documentation as per Factories Act and Rules.
4. Lead health awareness, wellness and first-aid training programs.
5. Liaise with relevant statutory authorities and support compliance audits.
MBBS degree from a recognized university.
AFIH (Associate Fellow of Industrial Health) certification is mandatory.
Experienced in industrial / Occupational health preferred.
Should be registered with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council.
