Job Description Department Technical Sub Department Production Role/Position Factory Manager Level Middle/Senior Management Grade M3 M1 Reporting to General Manager / Operations Head / Director Objective Responsible for strategic planning and leading strategic initiatives to scale up operations. Key ResponsibilitiesRole Summary: The Factory Manager will oversee end-to-end factory operations focused on manufacturing women's innerwear. This includes production planning, quality assurance, machine maintenance, compliance, cost control, and workforce management. The ideal candidate must ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and timely production while upholding safety and ethical compliance. Key Responsibilities: Plan and able to arrange company production requirements on time. Production planning and control. Increase capacity by Based on the companys business plan by developing new vendors. Effective utilization of resources to increase productivity and reduce the cost of production. Process re-engineering for better cost control sustained quality & Productivity. Evaluate and control budgeted cost vs actual cost. Adopt a new operational methodology to improve product quality standards and reduce conversion time and cost. Meet the desired product quality standards. Analysing new products and giving suggestions for production-friendly methods. Contain rework and rejection levels below the organisations standards. Drive the entire team to achieve the organisations goals. Identify training and development requirements for team members. Create a performance-oriented culture for sustainability. Implementation of lean systems and TQM tools. Should know factory and labour law and be able to meet all compliance requirements. Experience Required: 1015 years (at least 5 years in womens innerwear/lingerie manufacturing) Key Skills Required: Expertise in innerwear/lingerie manufacturing Strong knowledge of production planning & garment manufacturing processes Familiarity with quality systems (AQL, inline/final inspection) Man-management and team leadership skills Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and cost control techniques Strong communication and analytical skills Document no-VTR/FM/44
