Factory Manager

Core responsibilities

• Production management

  : Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet targets and deadlines, while overseeing the day-to-day manufacturing activities.

• Team leadership

  : Hire, train, and supervise production staff, assign tasks, and manage their performance to ensure a motivated and productive workforce.

• Quality assurance

  : Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure products meet established standards and specifications.

• Safety and compliance

  : Develop and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.

• Budget and cost control

  : Manage the factory budget, control expenses, and implement cost-effective solutions.

• Equipment maintenance

  : Ensure all machinery and equipment are properly maintained and operational to prevent downtime.

Strategic and collaborative duties

• Efficiency and improvement

  : Monitor production metrics, analyze data, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.

• Cross-functional collaboration

  : Liaise with other departments, such as engineering, logistics, and sales, to ensure seamless operations and alignment with company goals.

• Inventory management

  : Oversee the management of raw materials and finished products, ensuring proper storage and handling.

• Reporting

  : Prepare and present reports on factory performance, production, and other key metrics to senior management.
