Job Description

Position: Factory Manager

Experience: 10 Yrs

  • Responsible for successful day-to-day operations of the Factory.
  • Select and assigns staff, ensuring equal employment opportunity in hiring and promotion.
  • Planning and scheduling work assignments, setting priorities and directing the work of subordinate employees.
  • Evaluate and verify employees performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
  • Identify staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained.
  • Ensure production related activity is on time and cost efficient / effective.
  • Ensure production / quality process, equipment being used and the working environment is conducive to produce high quality product / service.
  • Effective planning & organizing production schedule.
  • Ensure reduction of wastages / defectives.
  • Modifying existing products, processes and developing new ones.
  • Adequate Material Requirement Planning.
  • Ensure the quality and hygiene of the product.
  • Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
  • Ensure GMP and GHP are in place.
  • Maximize capacity utilization / yield count per Kg.
  • Effective handling of all customer need.
  • Ensure customer complaints reduction / customer delight and follow up with customer for sales.
  • Systems Control.
  • Ensure food handling and processing methods to determine compliance with sanitation standards.
  • Ensure weights & measure devices and / or processing equipment for accuracy, proper design and operation.
  • Effective management of third party activities like vendors, contractors & external government agencies.
  • Ice cream production and control at third part manufacturing, stock inventory and management.
  • Review of end-to-end supply chain.
  • Reviewing food supply, security and sustainability.
  • Prepare and maintain budget plans and accounts for personnel, equipment and operating costs.
  • Costing and cost profit analysis of new product.
  • Compliance of factory operations for legal & regulatory standards.
  • Coordination with retail /sales team related to new orders / enquires and its execution.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of ISO 22000.
  • Travel as required by the work.
