Job Description

Job Title: Factory Manager (Administration)

Company: Neptune Orthopaedics Pvt. Ltd.

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Neptune Orthopaedics Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Factory Manager (Administration) to oversee overall administrative, operational, and compliance affairs of its manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will maintain smooth factory operations, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and lead cross-functional teams for maximum productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise administrative and operational functions of the manufacturing unit.

- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (labor laws, safety norms, etc.).

- Manage plant security, housekeeping, and maintenance operations.

- Coordinate between production, HR, purchase, and logistics departments for efficient workflow.

- Monitor manpower deployment, shift scheduling, attendance, and discipline.

- Liaise with local authorities and external agencies as required.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance working efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

- Prepare reports and handle audits related to factory operations and administration.

* Job Requirements

- Graduate in any discipline; a degree/diploma in management or industrial administration preferred.

- Minimum 10 years of experience in factory administration, preferably in the manufacturing or medical textile sector.

- Retired Army officers with relevant administrative and leadership experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Hindi/Gujarati.

- Ability to lead teams, handle workforce issues, and ensure process discipline.

- Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office tools.
