Factory Labourer

Receiving and processing shipments

• Unload, unpack, and inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies.
• Verify shipments against purchase orders or delivery notes.
• Sort, label, and store incoming products in their designated locations.

Order fulfillment

• Pick and pack products to fulfill customer orders accurately.
• Prepare orders for shipment, which may include wrapping, boxing, and labeling.
• Ensure all outgoing shipments are correct and ready for delivery or pickup.

Inventory management

• Maintain accurate inventory records, often using a warehouse management system (WMS).
• Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
• Report any discrepancies, lost, or damaged items.

Equipment operation and maintenance

• Operate machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.
• Drive trucks or vans for local deliveries or pickups if required.

Safety and cleanliness

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and regulations.
