Factory HR Manager - Apparel Manufacturing

As an HR Manager at a trusted manufacturer specializing in high-quality uniforms and garments, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources in the factory to ensure alignment with the company's business objectives. Your role will involve strategic planning and operational delivery to cultivate a high-performance culture, enhance employee engagement, ensure legal compliance, and promote a positive working environment. Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing HR strategies in line with long-term goals, leading HR-driven change management initiatives, overseeing HR systems and technologies for streamlined operations, monitoring key HR metrics, and ensuring compliance with Indian employment laws and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with the Operations Director and department heads to identify workforce needs, lead effective recruitment practices, manage employee development and training plans, implement performance management frameworks, and develop employee engagement strategies to improve morale and retention. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining HR policies and procedures to support the full employee lifecycle and ensure consistent, fair, and legally compliant handling of employee relations matters. To excel in this role, you should possess a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, management, or a related field, along with 5 to 10 years of experience in a mid-to-senior HR role, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment. Proficiency in Indian labour laws, health and safety regulations, and statutory compliance is essential, as well as proficiency in HRIS software, effective communication skills in English and Hindi, stakeholder management abilities, and attention to detail.
