Facility Executive/Housekeeping Executive

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility. Your duties will include: - Assigning duties to housekeeping staff and ensuring work is done according to cleanliness standards - Purchasing, re-ordering, and managing housekeeping supplies and inventory - Investigating and addressing complaints regarding housekeeping services and equipment - Ensuring compliance with Bio-Medical Waste Management Protocols set by the pollution control Board - Conducting orientation and in-service training for staff on policies, procedures, and equipment usage - Coordinating with nursing and patient services departments for the performance of ward assistants - Inspecting buildings for repairs or replacements needed for furniture or equipment - Recording work assignments, personnel actions, and preparing reports as required - Ensuring an infection control-free environment, especially in critical areas - Conducting meetings with contract launderers to ensure proper linen washing and handling - Attending staff meetings to discuss policies, complaints, and make recommendations for improvement - Supervising housekeeping staff on a daily basis, including day, event, and post-event crews - Upholding high standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct - Knowledge of NABH, JCI, and safety standards within the Housekeeping department - Implementing waste management practices and infection control measures, such as room sterilization after discharge - Training employees on quality systems of the department - Maintaining all required registers as per Hospital policy and quality standards This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
