Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Hyderabad for a Career Counsellor position. The individual in this role will guide students in exploring potential career paths, identifying their strengths, and aligning them with suitable educational and professional opportunities. Responsibilities include providing career counseling sessions, creating and facilitating career-related workshops or activities, and collaborating with other departments to support students’ academic and career growth. The Facilitator - Career Counsellor will also stay updated on industry trends and job market dynamics to deliver current and relevant guidance.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and counseling skills to provide effective support for students in academic and career-related decisions
• Experience in delivering presentations, organizing workshops, and facilitating group discussions
• Knowledge of career development theories, career assessment tools, and the educational/professional landscape
• Exceptional communication, listening, and motivational skills
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and faculty
• Familiarity with tools for career assessment and guidance, as well as proficiency in office productivity software
• Bachelor’s degree in Career Counseling or related field, Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Experience in career counseling or a related field is a plus
