Facade Engineer

The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, and quality control of faade works (curtain walls, glazing, cladding) for commercial and retail projects. Ensure structural integrity, aesthetics, and compliance with safety and performance standards.

Role & responsibilities

• Review and approve faade design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and faade contractors for seamless integration.
• Monitor installation of curtain walls, ACP panels, glazing systems, and sealants.
• Ensure compliance with wind load, thermal performance, and fire safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections for alignment, anchorage, and waterproofing details.
• Manage faade contractor performance and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain documentation of QA/QC checks, test reports, and progress updates.
• Ensure proper sealing and joint treatments to prevent water ingress.
• Conduct performance tests (water penetration, air leakage, structural integrity).
• Drive value engineering for cost optimization without compromising quality.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• 5+ years of experience in faade engineering for high-rise/commercial projects in waterproofing works for large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of faade systems, anchorage design, and IS/NBC standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), and faade performance testing.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
