Fabrication Supervisor

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Review and interpret fabrication drawings and ensure production is carried out accordingly. Supervise the preparation, cutting, welding, and assembly of steel components. Monitor daily production activities on the shop floor. Reconcile raw material consumption and ensure minimal wastage. Conduct in-process and final quality checks for dimensions, welding, and finish. Coordinate with the planning and design teams for production schedules. Maintain records for material usage, quality inspections, and production progress. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Lead and guide fabrication workers for efficient task execution. Report daily status and issues to the production manager. Preferred candidate profile Experience in power transmission or utility infrastructure projects. Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines. Problem-solving approach with a focus on quality and efficiency.
