Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fabric Technologist located in SIPCOT, Perundurai. The Fabric Technologist will be responsible for overseeing the development and production of fabrics, including tasks such as fabric testing, quality control, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role involves collaborating with designers and production teams to select appropriate materials, conducting research on new materials and technologies, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the production process.

Qualifications

• Experience in fabric testing, quality control, and ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Knowledge in knitting machines and operations.
• Ability to collaborate with designers and production teams to select appropriate materials
• Skills in conducting research on new materials and technologies
• Proficiency in troubleshooting issues during the production process
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Relevant experience in the textile or apparel industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, or related field
