Job Description

Role & responsibilities Customer Service Provide exceptional service to customers by assisting them in selecting fabrics based on their needs and preferences. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to product selection or purchases. Product Knowledge Maintain thorough knowledge of various types of fabrics, including their uses, care, and characteristics. Inform customers about new arrivals, trends, and special promotions related to fabric and sewing supplies. Inventory Management Ensure that the fabric inventory is accurately managed and organized in the store. Monitor stock levels and assist in reordering products when necessary to maintain appropriate inventory. Sales and Merchandising Implement effective merchandising techniques to enhance product visibility and attractiveness in the store. Work towards achieving sales goals and targets by promoting featured products and promotions. Store Maintenance Keep the store clean, organized, and appealing to enhance the overall shopping experience. Assist in the setup of displays and arrangements of fabric sections to maximize customer engagement. Collaboration Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and customer satisfaction. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve service quality and product knowledge. Point of Sale Management Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle cash and credit payments accurately. Maintain records of sales and assist in preparing reports as required by management. Preferred candidate profile
