Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS)

Location:

Experience: 3 - 8 Years

Key Responsibilities:

Provide accounting advice and transactional support on
M&A, divestitures, structured finance, IPOs, debt/equity offerings, leasing, and derivatives
Conduct research and interpretation of changing standards under
US GAAP, IFRS, and IND AS
Draft technical accounting memos and support accounting policy and governance initiatives
Perform technical research using
FASB, SEC, IASB
guidance and public filings
Benchmark client data against industry standards to identify improvement opportunities
Support financial statement close, GAAP conversions, and implementation of new standards
Ensure quality in client deliverables and manage engagement progress

Skills & Experience:

Strong understanding of
IND AS / IFRS / US GAAP / UK GAAP / IGAAP
Experience in at least three of the following areas:
• Technical accounting research and memo writing • Transaction accounting & reporting (IPO, carve-outs, PPA, etc.) • GAAP conversions and new standard implementation • Drafting & designing accounting policies • Consolidation and close process support • Benchmarking and financial analysis
Excellent analytical, presentation, and report-writing skills

Qualifications:

CA / CPA (US) / ACCA (UK)
with
3 to 8 years
of relevant post-qualification experience
Prior experience in
FAAS / Technical Accounting / Big 4
is highly preferred

Mandatory:
Experience in
at least one Big 4 firm
(EY, Deloitte, PwC, or KPMG) in a relevant service line (FAAS / Technical Accounting )
Proficiency in MS Excel and Office tools
Strong business acumen and flexibility to travel when required
