Job Description

As an Accounts and Finance professional at EY, you will play a crucial role in managing various procurement activities and ensuring compliance with control procedures and accounting policies. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be essential in providing high-quality client service delivery and resolving discrepancies efficiently. Your ability to communicate effectively with both external and internal clients will contribute to the development and management of relationships. Your responsibilities will include: - Validating and reviewing invoices and purchase orders for accuracy, resolving discrepancies or issues promptly - Providing input for timely resolution of queries from vendors, clients, and other stakeholders - Maintaining and updating records, databases, and documentation for audit purposes - Assisting in the development of internal documents, processes, controls, SOPs, and flowcharts - Ensuring adherence to KPIs, SLAs, and managing escalations when necessary - Ensuring compliance with control procedures, regulatory requirements, and accounting policies - Developing and managing relationships with external and internal clients - Communicating progress to supervisors and meeting client requests in a timely manner To excel in this role, you must possess the following skills and attributes: - Proficiency in investigating client queries and emerging matters, including regulations and industry norms - Excellent analytical skills for managing multiple tasks effectively - Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Microsoft Dynamics D365, Ariba, Right Angle, and Blackline - Strong interpersonal skills for bridging organizational boundaries and geographical locations To qualify for this role, you must meet the following requirements: - Postgraduate in Accounts and Finance. Professional degree like CA, ACCA (UK), CPA, MBA will be an added advantage - 0-3 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant field, including experience in MIS reporting - Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office - Knowledge of Crude oil or Hydrocarbon accounting will be an added advantage - Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary - Strong communication skills and a highly proactive approach - Flexibility and openness to working in US shifts as per business requirements About EY: EY exists to build a better working world, helping to create long-term value for clients, people, and society, and build trust in the capital markets.
