Job SummaryWe are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our team in the banking and insurance sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and modeling, with hands-on experience in SAS, R, Python, and Generative AI (GenAI). This role will focus on leveraging data to drive insights and support decision-making processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Data AnalysisAnalyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and support business decisions in banking and insurance operations.

Model DevelopmentDevelop and implement predictive models using SAS, R, and Python to address business challenges and improve operational efficiency.

Generative AI ApplicationsExplore and apply Generative AI techniques to enhance data-driven solutions and create innovative products and services.

CollaborationWork closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Data VisualizationCreate compelling visualizations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Cloud IntegrationUtilize Azure services for data storage, processing, and model deployment to ensure scalability and efficiency.

Continuous LearningStay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and analytics.

Qualifications

EducationBachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience2-4 years of experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in the banking and insurance sectors.

Technical
Skills:

Proficiency in SAS, R, and Python for data analysis and modeling.

Generative AI KnowledgeFamiliarity with Generative AI concepts and applications.

Cloud ProficiencyExperience with Azure services for data analytics and model deployment.

Analytical
Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

Communication
Skills:

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.

Preferred
Skills:

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create insightful dashboards and reports.
