Job Description

Job Summary

Prepare and manage all pre-shipment and post-shipment export documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.) as per international requirements.
Ensure compliance with
export regulations
, customs laws, and destination country requirements.
Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, CHA (Customs House Agents), and other logistic partners for timely dispatch.
Coordinate with the sales team, production, and warehouse for order processing and shipment planning.
Handle issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies in shipments.
Negotiate with freight forwarders for competitive rates and efficient services.
Maintain accurate export records for audits and MIS reporting.
Stay updated with changes in export policies, INCOTERMS, shipping regulations, and trade tariffs.
Suggest process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

3 to 5 years of proven experience in
export documentation & shipment coordination
.
Knowledge of
INCOTERMS, shipping procedures, customs clearance
, and export payment methods
Strong communication skills (verbal & written) in English.
Proficiency in MS Office and export-related software/tools.
Ability to handle individually and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Experience in Manufacturing/Chemical Industry.
Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English.
